The back-door cut is a cut to the basket. The player should make a move toward the ball, so the player’s defender follow him/her; immediatly the player points his/her advanced foot - the nearest to the sideline: if you are on the left part of the floor, you should point firmly your right foot, and viceversa - on the floor and changes direction (the V cut), now going to the basket, behind the back of the defender.
